Sheep milk cheese with chilli

Fresh sheep milk cheese from Pienza

This cheese is produced by farm Cugusi using only pasteurized sheep's milk.
The farm is located in Val d'Orcia, just a few kilometres from Montepulciano and Pienza.
This is a mid mature Pecorino, with only pasteurized sheep's milk.

It is a cheese of approximately 90 days. Spicy inside with  powder chili, it has a decidedly spicy flavor. Perfect for hors d'oeuvre and croutons.
